 LGA Global Eco Index™ Series

The LGA Global Eco Index™ series is a hybrid investment strategy that combines the principal protection features of bonds with the upside potential of a portfolio of environmental leadership companies. These hybrid securities are called structured notes or index-linked notes.

Launched in 1998, the Global Eco Index™ is a series of principal-protected structured notes whose value is determined by the value of a global index of environmentally leadership companies selected by Light Green Advisors.

These structured notes are issued by European financial institutions whose debt is rated AA or better (BBB is the lowest investment grade). LGA designed these principal-protected notes in conjunction with Investment Banking Partners, now EFG Investment Bank, a subsidiary of the EFG Group.

The Global Eco Index™ Series and other custom structured products are only available to qualified institutional investors.

For information on the Global Eco Index™ Series and how structured products can be used to create a hedged, long-term investment "bet" on financial advantage of companies with demonstrable environmental sustainability advantages and simultaneously reduce the downside risk of owning traditional equity portfolios, click here.

Please note that structured products provide lower liquidity than traditional stock market investments. Notes can be structured for periods of time ranging from 3 to 30 years. Structured notes are generally not suitable for individual investors or institutional investors that have immediate liquidity requirements.
